After having been screened at the San Sebastian Film Festival, having published a book, and start the "Memory Bus", "Izarren Argia" film finally arrives at the premiere. The project has had a great impact and social support and was released in theaters October 22.

“Stars to wish upon” tells the story of Victoria. A woman, who, like many others during the Spanish Civil War, is not only deprived of her liberties, but also of the one thing dearest to a mother: her child. In such a situation, there are only two options: to hold onto hope or to lose it forever.

“Amaren eskuak” is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Karmele Jaio. The precarious balance that Nerea maintains in her life suddenly falls apart when Luisa, her mother, is admitted to hospital after completely losing her memory.

Nerea feels guilty about not having reacted when the first symptoms of this appeared and now she sees how Luisa’s clock has suddenly begun to run slow and has dragged her back to the past. Luisa doesn’t recognise Nerea, and Nerea, in turn, cannot understand why her mother persistently asks her to take her to the lighthouse and why she calls out in her sleep for a stranger called Germán.

Nerea will discover a new side to her mother’s life and will become aware of how similar her past experiences and the ghosts that haunt her memories are.
